While I am here tho I thought it is a good time to announce the birth yesterday of Baby Pandora!!! Lotus Blossom finally cracked it and grunted out a pink watermelon yesterday morning.... I suspect she used the emergency exit instead of the usual front door because the 30 second old baby pic included mum under a blue shroud and a man in a mask beavering away in the background! A zipper job if ever I saw one!

The unexpected release of Pandora on Thursday morning came as big shock to the rest of us seeing that Lotus Blossom was working in her shop all day Wednesday and I must admit she was looking all "blooming and blossomy" when I went to check on her at lunch time.
But you do get that on these big jobs... a week or two before you look like hell and all you want to do is chop the bloody thing out and let you see your feet again and stand up straight without toppling over or getting a sway back...... then when the explosion time is imminent... you get all busy and glowing and full of bloody beans! All of which Lotus Blossom did in the preceeding days!!

Well it was just lovely to see anyway that Pandora arrived in good order and in what appears to have been lightning speed. The only downside is that I have lost my hairdresser for the near future... (damn... no more electric pink locks hiding the grey for me!) and I will have to find another victim for all my "fat jokes" and pregnancy horror stories!

oh well.... the quilts are coming along nicely... I have a cute little one in blues and apricot on the stippling machine now and have got a couple of rows finished tonight... The Daughter checked out all the "big cats" quilt covers that I located overseas and agrees that my idea to use these prints to make my own quilts/comforters just might work!

Better go... I promised myself some sleep tonight and it's nearly midnight already.
