"Memories & Mayhem"

I thought I would take a chance and see if the website was still here. The past months have flown by and I see my last visit was in June!!! The MOT is now seriously ill and it takes all our time to keep her safe at home with The Boy as her full time carer and ME left all alone ( and unsupervised) in the shop!

But we are all still here and still alive and still up to our armpits in grandchildren (more often than we would like sometimes!). Joycey Cook Extraordinaire still visits daily although she NEVER cooks for me anymore!!! Sighhhhhh......

Kek has practically taken up full time lodging at the "Club" table and even has her own chair (sit in it if you dare!) and was worth her weight in Gold when Joycey left me for employment all that time ago! Now they both jostle and fight for "supreme slave" position as each one tries to nudge the other off the throne!!

But having two chief slaves is like having two boyfriends... you know what I mean.... one to go out and party all night and one to stay home and fix stuff!! At least Kek cooks for me... sometimes.......

We all miss Pitty Pat since she left for the bright lights of Dubbo and my website misses the support and encouragement of Supergeek.

I am still sewing like a demon and The Daughter totally dismantled the front of the shop to give us a new "look" for spring and to let the "Chi" flow freely as the weather warms up..... Well it was a nightmare to move the huge amount of crap... er I mean quality stock.... that I have collected over the years... but the troops were brought in.... three hulking young brutes with bulging muscles dragged mountains of shit from here to there and beyond and all the new lovelies were primped and fluffed and located in prime positions. So it all looks lovely and feels lovely and also spacious.... not so much like a cave now! BUT we have hardly seen The Daughter since her late night assault on us all..... maybe the CHI blew a bit too hard and knocked her clean outta the place!

I have dallied long enuff.... I am supposed to be out the back catching up on all the sewing and quilting that has piled up over the past months....
